Crafty Kids Parties
Book your child’s next birthday party with us. At Craft House we run parties designed to inspire creative minds. Parents can relax and enjoy the celebration while our trained tutors ensure the children have FUN as they complete a craft project they will be proud to bring home.
How it Works:
1. Choose your preferred date and time:
Our parties run for 2hrs. We generally take 1 ½ hours for the tutor led craft activity, then you’ll have 30mins for party food/cake/presents if you choose to bring these. Please contact us to check availability of dates. Times can be flexible but are generally 10am-12pm, 12-2pm or 2-4pm.
2. Choose your project:
Select one of our high-quality crafting options or let us create something especially for your group. Most of our projects can be adapted to suit a party theme if you have one … just let us know.
Parties start at $150 for 6 children … extras at $20 each … with a maximum of 12 children in total. We ask that you pay a deposit of $50 to secure your booking, the balance can be paid on the day of the party.
Please Note: Our crafty parties are aimed at the age of the birthday child, if your guests are much younger or older please let us know so we can plan accordingly … younger children will require additional supervision.
Bring your own photo or let us take a group one for you. Then feature your photo on an 8x8 artists canvas which you'll decorate with paint, paper and embellishments. Suitable for all ages.
Make this awesome book using envelopes. Decorate with patterned papers and cuttlebug shapes to really personalise it . Suitable for all ages.
Fun and functional too … decorate a 12x12 canvas with paint and paper and add a real working clock. Suitable for 7 years and up.
Fold and decorate your own paper dresses to peg up in a line. Suitable for ages 8 and up.
Got a particular theme or interest in mind? It could be possible to add a theme to any of our standard parties or even create a new project especially for your group … we're always happy to discuss the possibilities.
tips for a successful crafty party
As we have limited space upstairs in the craft room we prefer not to have extra adults stay in this area. (Host parents welcome of course.) Parents dropping off children are welcome to wait downstairs in our party food space or they may want to wander down the road to La Cloche for a coffee and some down time.
Our kitchen area includes a microwave, jug, and small chiller. We have some coffee cups for adults needing a hot drink (B.Y.O. milk) but you will need to provide plastic or paper plates/cups etc for the children. Some parents bring pre-packed snack boxes, others order pizza and many offer traditional party food. We provide a rubbish bag for you to leave your rubbish in and will sweep the floor for you.
Parking – where possible please use the Craft House parks immediately in front of the building.
