HOW TO SHOP...
Our Shopping Cart is built on one of the best applications we could find available, and which supported our unique and very diverse business needs and customer requirements. It features many services and content that often goes beyond most traditional online shopping offerings - and provides us also the potential to add more as we need to.
The Shopping Cart is updated with our actual inventory levels and new stock generally several times each week. This ensures non-local customers can enjoy products almost as soon as they arrive in store... but occassionally the Shopping Cart may show availbility which does not reflect actual stock. We aplogise for the latter issue - but it is not an issue we can address currently.
The Shopping Cart provides secure/certified credit card facilities - but these are not processed "real time" but only when the order is processed and confirmed as complete/all products availble.
The Shopping Cart and associated services are hopefully intuitive.. but here is a basic overview if required.
SHOPPING
Products - are arranged in Categories (Adhesives, Cardstock etc) but also by Brand.
View - provides detailed information and other options such as Add to Cart, Back Order, Email to a Friend, Price (including currency conversion), Product Rating information and Add to Wish List.
Add To Cart - simply adds the selected item to your Shopping Cart. At the right hand corner of the top navigation bar you can see your Shopping Cart Total.
The product inventory available through the Shopping Cart is updated from our main Retail Management system frequently thereby minimising the possibility of ordering product which is out of stock, however, from time to time this will happen due to varying daily stock levels.
Discount Code - is
If you Add To Cart a quantity that cannot be fulfilled i.e. you order 6 and there is only 4 showing as available, you will get a message advising such and suggesting a lesser quantity might work.
Back Order - if an item is out of stock, this option will be presented. We endeavour to get back to you with an expected availbility date within 48 - 72 hours and when it will be shipped to you. Back Orders are treated as commitment to purchase unless you advise to the contrary within 48 hours of us advising availbility. Normal Shipping Costs will apply.
Request Price & Ordering Information - there are products that are not available for purchase online for a number of reasons i.e. prohibited or having special ordering instructions. Such products will have this option adjacent to them. You can expect a response with information generally within 24 hours.
Review - feel free to read or submit a review on any product.
Wish List - a terrific feature that enables you to not only store your own favourites, but to also share these with others via a personal external link. Christmas, Birthdays and other special occasions could get a whole lot better!
Compare - create your own "comparison" page by adding the products you are interested in to a page complete with all relevant details and images.
Search - offers both a simple and a more advanced option to search for a particular product, subject or brand.
View Cart - this will show you, with quantities, the Items in your Cart. You can modify your Order here.
Register - to complete purchases, access your personal information and much more. You will use a valid email address to which all information, action records etc will be forwarded.
Customer Login - is required using Registration information to access or complete certain functions such as Check Out, view Craft Dollars balance etc.
Your Account - Personal information is retained "On Account" here - including past orders, information on order status, addresses etc which can appropriately be modified. No credit card details are retained.
Within the "Your Account" area you will find many features which may be of interest. In addition to emails that you will receive regarding your order - you can also check on the status of your order, tracking numbers if applicable etc in this area.
Check Out - complete the details as requested, including address details for delivery if different from postal address.
Payment - various options for payment methods are available. For Credit Cards these are processed only after a order is processed, checked and ready for shipping i.e. we do not use a payment gateway service which will charge your card immediately.
Security - our Shopping Cart is certified by GeoTrust and all credit card information is only stored within the secure area in an encrypted format.
